Do you have problems with your starter overflowing once the yeast gets going?

I fill my hlt to the rim and I set my strike water at a higher temp. Temp drops during transfer and when I mash in. I add more water to the hlt and it settles at the correct temperature.

My setup is Kal clone but with 3 keggles. I unusually brew 10 gallon batches. Boil kettle is the one item I wish I could replace sometimes. I had a boilover once which made a mess but once you get past the hot break it's ok.

No I didn't. I used kegs on my setup so it isn't the prettiest looking Kal clone.

Hey guys. I'm in Mass but I finished my build year and a half ago. Wiring was my favorite part. Bending the coil was the biggest pain for me and took me a long time to get it done. I love my setup now and brewing is so much more enjoyable.

I wish those things also had a built in camera so that you can watch the 'subject' getting soaked.

I agree with previous post. Give him a break. I've been a part of a group buy which Donovan organized few weeks ago. Group buy was 3 pallets worth of grain and he collected all the funds. If he wanted to make some quick cash I think he'd take few grand over few dollars here.

It says discontinued for me too.

I've had the same issues with them. Placed an order for few items and didn't hear anything for a week. I called them and was told one of the hops was on backorder and they were waiting for it to come in. I don't know why they didn't email me and asked me off I wanted to sub for a different hop.

Where do you get your agar and Petri dishes from?

I have the same oxygen setup and have no off flavor issues. I run it for 60 seconds on low.

I just use a stick. Probably 3/4 inch diameter. I leave it on the ground for the winter and it rots away so a new one goes in the spring.

Are you going to bring them this Sunday?
