    Mold or Yeast

    So I have a growth on the surface of my beer which I have never seen before. First thought is that it is mold, but looking at the threads it appears it could possibly just yeast blooms at the surface. Brewed on Saturday (around 3pm finish) now about 8m Tuesday (over 72 hours) Fermenting at 68F...

    Fermentation Chamber - No Airlock Activity

    I finally got around to getting a chest freezer to use as a fermentation chamber. I know my temps are usually high, so I did expect to see a reduction in fermentation activity, but I have brewed 5 beers now (well, one went in on Saturday) and none of them have showed any activity in the airlock...
