BIAZB: Brew in a Ziplock Bag

I also have two 2.5 gallon ball-lock kegs and I really like them. Perfect size for me. I'm happy to hear the sous vide stick works well for you even without a ziplock bag/water bath :) Maybe I was just doing it wrong hahaha!

BIAZB: Brew in a Ziplock Bag

This is my setup: SS Brewtech 5.5 gal Kettle Induction Burner Recommendations I used to brew everything on a Brewer's Edge Mash & Boil: It's a great system for the price, but I wasn't happy with the temperature fluctuation and it was a little unwieldy for small batches.

BIAZB: Brew in a Ziplock Bag

I'm obviously not an expert, but I figured that the mash temp range is close to the temp range used for sous vide cooking, so it seems to be OK. Here's some more temp info:

BIAZB: Brew in a Ziplock Bag

SS Brewtech 5.5 gal Kettle Induction Burner Recommendations

Thank you for both replies. I ended up getting this $50 1800 W IKEA induction cooktop and I'm really happy with it: TILLREDA Portable induction cooktop, white - IKEA I brewed on it for the first time this past weekend. I also insulated my 5.5 kettle with Reflectix and used my BBQ thermometer to...

SS Brewtech 5.5 gal Kettle Induction Burner Recommendations

Hi, I'm looking for some recommendations from you fine folks. I currently own a Mash & Boil, but I find myself only brewing 2.5 gallon batches. I'd like a nicer, smaller setup. And I also want my cleanup to be easier. I really like to get the 5.5 gallon SS Brewtech Kettle and would like to...
