Thanks guys! I could care less about how cloudy my beer is I just thought there's gotta be fermentables in there and I have heard of guys going thru great pains to sperate it! From here on out if it's in the kettle it's going in the fermenter!

When transferring wort from the brew kettle to the fermenter do you drain all the solids at the bottom of the kettle into the fermenter or do you just drain the liquids off ?

From what I have read and seen its not that hard as long as you are meticulous about following instructions and procedures! I think we will have fun with it and should be a good bonding experience for my son and I!

I'm from beautiful west central wi.north of hwy 8 south of hwy 70 and west of hwy 53 my son is 24 so hopefully we will be enjoying our brew together!

My son and I are thinking about starting to brew beer and thought this may be a good place to get started ! Haven't brewed anything yet just getting everything together but looking forward to the process!
