    ever done any welding with aluminum? It would be quite hard to attached a spigot for the use of a counterflow chiller... I guess you could silver bond it. I'm only biased about aluminum because mine warped.

    Anybody ever used brown Sugar for bottling? If so what did it turn out like? Could it be a possible disaster? Could you infect your bottles? Has anybody used carbonation drops for bottling? You can buy them from www.flatfenderbrewing.com I want to experiment, but I don't want disaster!

    whoa! Thank for the advice! Don't want to ruin an Airlock...any tips on keeping the blow out valve clean? Perhaps mix your water with ethyl Alcohol or something? I bet I can find this answer somewhere in this forum!...

    whoa....I started reading this online...this book is confusing yet informative, now I don't know what sparging method I want to do...what do you do? haha...He even goes into depth about temperatures and how well certain grains will convert start to sugars...
