    Inkbird Giveaway

Hi all, Won an ITC 308 from Inkbird (the UK plug version, which is just as well, 'cos that's where I live). I have reviewed it in th link below, but in summary - easy to set up and use. If you don't fancy wiring things in or cutting holes in boxes, this is the dogs conkers...

Should I still rack to secondary?

For what it's worth I never use a secondary, I alway go by 2 + 2 + 2 - 2 weeks fermentor, 2 weeks bottle or keg in the warm (same temperature as fermentation) then 2 weeks cool (10° - 12°c). Seems to work for me.

Giveaway for Inkbird ITC-308 with UK Plug

I like the home made approach to brewing. Currently in the middle of a fermentation chamber build - an ITC-308 would be ideal to control it!

    Saison carbonation

Cheers fellas. I have a few corneys, think I'll go long on this one, and keg it. With that amount of gas shouldn't take too much carbing! I've got 25 litres, so the rest I'll put in some Coopers Oxbars I've got. Coming from Northern Ireland, I don't fancy any more bottle bombs....

    Saison carbonation

Hi all, my Saison (still fermenting after 3 weeks!) is nearly ready to bottle. According to BJCP Saisons are highly carbonated, so in the priming calculator I am thinking of going for 2.8 vols of co2. Too low, too high are am I on the money?!
