My temp control is okay - can get low temps in winter of ~55F, with plenty of lagging to avoid fluctuations. Next batch will be "swamp" cooled to ensure accuracy. Lagers of choice are Heineken, San Miguel, Grolsch or similar.

Was dry yeast that I just flung in the top and gave it a whizz round, as per the instructions

Thanks. The Euro lager actually comes with a lager yeast, so will give them another week or so then put them in the cold - this is what I was planning but started to doubt myself! Cheers

Hello All, after a little advice on my Coopers Euro Lager please. Have bottled mine after 18 days in primary (OG1045 to FG1010) at 12 - 13C, although had to lift to 16C to finish ferment. Now been in the bottles at 18C carbing up/conditioning for the last 8 days. What should I do next...

Well brought half the bottles in the house, warmed up to ~18C/65F and gave them all a shake, see if I can spark a remarkable turnaround! No bottle bombs - I may have overestimated the amount of priming sugar used; probably closer to 4g per 500mls. Shall give them a week or two and...

Temps within range of 18 - 24C for the yeast

6g sugar per 500mls of beer. Gravity was stable for 3 days. 7 days in bottle at 18C before cooling. No bottle bombs as of yet (5 weeks later).
