Pitched Safale US-05 after german ale didn't take.

Its been a while since i posted that. But if i remember correctly. The beer was just fine in the end. If you are concerned i see no problem in pitching another strain. It could save your beer. Might not come out exactly as you hoped but thats a better alternative then an infection.

    Hop dropper??

Stealthfixr. Could you post some pics by any chance. I would love to spend the 275$ but we have just renovated the basement. So spending much on anything is hard right now.

    Hop dropper??

Has anyone heard of or built either an automatic or manual type hop dropper to reduce oxygenation when dry hopping? I have an ss brew bucket. And very curious on how I could modify it to do this sort of thing. Let me know your ideas/specs.

And i use an ss conical brew bucket. For this ale i pitched wlp german ale/kolsch strain. I almost always have a good...

    No brew activity after 24hrs

Ok this all helps outs. I did have a OG reading on the high side (1.060). I am making my west coast IPA like normal, and i am fermenting on the cool side as well, but i have never had this problem. I am going to wait another day and see what happens. I also know about adding more yeast or...

    No brew activity after 24hrs

I have been brewing seriously for about two years and have never had any problems fermenting. I have always seen activity within 24 hrs whether a little or a lot, but this morning I woke up to absolutly no activity. If I dont see activity within the next day, what should I do? :mug:
