    Just want to update, added the yeast and fermentation has been going great. So if you open a pack prior just make sure you tape it shut and then sterilize the outside of the package. Thanks again for all the help.

    It should i really have never had too many problems with it in the past. I can usually let it sit a couple hours before starting then its good by the timeI need it.

    So i gave my brother-in-law the wyeast package to pop the activator (thought he'd have a good time just hitting it) instead he just opened the package (YOU HAD ONE JOB!!). Any ideas on whether or not it will work still in the 3 hours when my beer gets done brewing? Please quick answers would be...
