    Prep garage for brew day

My garage is my brewing mecca, it's always ready to go! Pour a beer(maybe coffee depending upon the time), turn on the tv or blast some music, and get it goin!

You won't regret buying a stir plate if that is what you decide to do. I would not be without one now that I have been using one for quite some time. If I remember correctly, this is what I went with. https://bellsbeer.com/store/products/StirStarter-%252d-Yeast-Starter-Stir-Plate.html...

    First Infected Batch?

Smell it, you'll know fairly quickly if something is wrong.

Sure thing! When you make you next starter off of yeast you have jarred, just make a starter as you normally would but increase the volume by the 500ml you want to pour off to "harvest" before pitching. Every starter you make will always just need to be 500ml more than what you want to pitch...

    Fermentation question - little bubbling

    Bottler Ready to Start Kegging

Second Kegconnection.com, they usually have really good deals. Keep an eye out for their specials, I got all the stuff for my setup from them. Great people to work with, I decided I wanted different faucets after they shipped, the worked with me to exchange them with no hassle whatsoever.

    Did I ruin this beer?

Forgive me, but did you happen to cool this additional wort you made that you dumped into the beer that had begun to ferment?

    Mash PH

Honestly, with this being your first all-grain batch, I would just filter your water if you think you may need/want to and see how it goes. This is what I did until I became completely dialed into the AG process and was able to focus on more of the "fine tuning" aspects of the process...

    Hello From Dallas, TX

Hey everyone! I just thought I would use this as an opportunity to say that I have been reading for years, but never created an account to post anything until now. So much of my brewing time has been spent on these forums. If it wasn't for this site, or the incredible people who run it and...
