100% Brett L souring with lacto

UPDATE: I did a couple things...no lacto upon re commendation. I racked a 100% Brett L saison onto blueberries and dumped some of the leftover yeast cake into the Carboy as well. I also racked a pale I have going into cherries and added some of the yeast cake from the 100% Brett L into that...

100% Brett L souring with lacto

Ok, so even in a low alcohol brew, the lacto won't work? I'm roughly 5-6% ABV. I figured the extra sugar from the cherries would have some effect with the lacto

    KBS clone questions

I probky should have done a starter, mashed grains at 155F for 45 minutes then added my extracts, full boil for an hour. Added chocolate and cocoa nibs and coffee per instructions. I seem to always get a little lower OG when I brew than what I should, not sure why....I follow all instructions...

    KBS clone questions

Hi all, I'm on my 5th batch of homebrew and decided to get a little ambitious, trying to replicate the Founders KBS. I can't get it in WA so I figured why not try to make my own. I followed an extract recipe from Zymurgy exactly and made sure to sanitize all my equipment with star-San very well...
