I have 3.5 gallon of cider I am letting sit in hopes the sulfur smells goes away. What can I top off with? I know I with wine and beer I just used commercial like style. Same for cider?

A friend has to move these hood off his property. He is not a beer person so They were for decoration. Can anyone give me advise for when he digs them up and how I can best plant at end of the season. Also any idea what variety they are?

Thanks for advice. I think instead of fry hopping with nugget. I will just use the other 1/2 of Nelson (60% actually) in the dry hop! My OCD doesn’t like to use .4 Oz when I can just round up to a half!

I don’t mind a little higher IBUs. My last batch was a 5gallon cream ale with 1 Oz of williamette at 60 and 1 Oz Saaz at 20. I am going to do 1/2 Williamette/crystal at 60 Then move the other half of crystal to 20. See how that works.

I am brewing this today, but had to cut in half. Would it be too hoppy if I kept the 1oz of williamette and crystal at 60 mins? Or could I do 1/2 Oz @60 and then use the other half for late addition hop?

Thanks for replay. Over the years I expanded on my version of a cream ale. I am IPA drinker most friends and family are BMC drinker. I appreciate a light body ale, but try to add some of those late hops so the BMC drinkers can start to appreciate hops in beer.

Making a cream ale using Williamette (60 min) and Saab (20 min). Going to add 2 Oz of Citra Cryohops for some aroma. whirlpool at 170? Dry hop 5-7 days? I halve read that whirlpool inparts a little flavor, while dry hoponly provides aroma. thoughts? Preferences?

Neighbors coworker bought him a beer of the month thing. He gets a 12 pack every month with 4 different beers (3 bottles each). Since we are beer buddies. I am getting 4 beers a month. at very least it is free beer! This was kind of malty, not much else ! unified beer works. Great brewery!!!!
