Mega Pot 15 Gal Kettle Pin Hole - How to Repair It Suggestions

I've had a Mega Pot 15 kettle from Northern Brewer now for quite a few years. It has served me well except the lid handle snapped off. I had it rewelded with stainless rods. The welder said it appeared to be only tack welded and not fully welded along the base of each handle where it meets the...

    HomebrewTalk T-shirts Pre-Order

Original barrel looked like a 50 BMG. Pissed my pants when I saw a better perspective and that it's a .177 air rifle. Damn brute of a rifle compared to my Daisy, LOL.

    Beer Labelizer - Label Generator

I do it the PITA way because I'm a masochist. I take my pdf to Staples and have it printed on a color laser. I then cut them out by hand, and sometimes with a paper cutter. Then I apply them to the bottle with milk via a spray bottle. :drunk:

Dry Hopping - Opinions on This One Method

Thanks for your inputs. I'm not trying to sanitize the bags. I've done that separately in the past. My thought was to release more of the beta, primarily, by a quick dip in boiling water and then a rapid cooling before adding the mix/bag into the fermenting beer. I've had good results...

Dry Hopping - Opinions on This One Method

I've done the 'traditional' method, I guess, of dry hopping with hops in a bag and placed in the secondary fermenter for most of my brews. Recently, I've taken to taking the hop bag and placing it in a cup of boiling water and then placing it in the freezer to rapidly cool. I then take the...

    AG chocolate honey porter

I've just bottled a honey choco porter that was half malt and half grain mix. I used three oz of english fuggle for the boil (thoughout the boil) and dry hopped with one oz of english fuggle. I used eight oz of unsweetened, powdered baking cocoa (added choc at 45 minute mark of a 60 minute boil)...
