    Puzzled with Northern Brewer Cream Ale

    First brew popped the cap

    Just popped my first brew....though it still needs some time to finish carbing and flavor meld...it is damned tasty! The head was a result of an aggressive pour...and it did hang for a bit. The end result was some nice lacing...so I must have done something right!:mug:

    8 gallon pot...will this work?

    Confused with Cider....

    I was under the impression being 12 days into this cider that it would be close to being done fermenting....I am still getting good fermentation with bubbles every 5 to 6 seconds in the airlock.     Has anyone used Prime Dose Capsules on their cider?

    I was looking at this....and I wonder if it would prevent bottle bombs in the cider? I figure it would not work for me as I am planning to back sweeten...and the existing yeast could still produce the bombs. This is a new product that NB is now selling.
