    Pool ball tap handles

I don't have one right now, but I think I know where I can get one. If so, I will show you.

    Sorry, I am late!

Thanks, I look forward to learning and growing in hobby and becoming a part of what is obviously a loose community/network of people who share the interest. For now, it is something that for the first time in years is competing with work for my time and attention. I think that is a very good thing.

    Sorry, I am late!

Likely to become the obsession for me - I have only two speeds with most things, on and off with insufficient moderation. So far I have brewed wheat, extra stout, hefe, pumpkin ale. I have an oatmeal stout and an American brown in fermentation. I will likely continue to experiment around and...

    Pool ball tap handles

Does it need to be an actual pool ball or could it be a plastic replica that looks like the real thing?

    Grain Mill Question-

and given the force required to crush grain, I would agree with those who caution that using a rolling pin to do an all grain brew would be very difficult. Good luck. I assume that your local brew shop does sell crushed/milled grain. Until you get a mill, I would recommend buying crushed grains.

    Sorry, I am late!

But, I just discovered the benefits of being a member. I was born 66 years ago but just arrived here yesterday. What an amazing resource HBT is! I have loved beer forever but only discovered the sheer pleasure of making it myself a few months ago. The science and artistry of it is the perfect...

Forgot hops - What to do?

I thought that might be the case, but when I took the 15 minute additions off my BeerSmith recipe it shot the hop continuum to the far left in the yellow, so I was concerned. I also know that .3 oz is a very small amount of bittering to add. Thanks, I will report back how this batch works out...

Forgot hops - What to do?

Thanks, it was an American Brown style. I was in the normal range according to BeerSmith for everything but on the light side of hops with my recipe. I did boil a tea last night with less than the full complement of hops and added it in. We shall see.

Forgot hops - What to do?

I brewed a five gallon batch of brown ale. I wanted it to be light on hops. The plan was for .3 oz of Magnum at 60 minutes for 13.5 IBU. I did that but forgot the fugel and more Magnum at 15 minutes. So I have only 13.5 IBUs total. Will a hop tea help? Is this going to be a sweet mess? The batch...
