A lot of people are suggesting long fermentation times for ales, but also that IPAs might be different. I'm not doing a secondary, just bottling right after.
Alright that's what I'll do then. Its an IPA that I made with a starter kit, it was a lot of fun to try out and this forum has already helped out a lot. I only have a one gallon carboy, so I want to scale after a little more practice
I just finished my first brew today :D and I realized I have to go back to school before the beer will finish fermenting. Will it be ok on the drive or is it best to drive back down when it needs to be bottled?
