    There are no air gaps in the lid. Everything is sealed with silicone and foil tape.

    Decided to face the color in order to cover all seals/gaskets and also add a skirt to the bottom to cover the frame and wheels.

    I have a few finishing touches to add yet, but our goal was to make this look like a piece of furniture and hopefully that was accomplished. The wood is stained with 2 coats of gloss black and covered with 3 coats of high gloss poly.
