    Before using a demijohn to age a beer should you prime it like when you bottle a beer? Will this actualy improve the beer or show i add to it? If so what would you add? Sprey malt or yeast or honey or something else?

    Iv heard of aging beers and also dry hopping in this but as per the previous post youd have to be careful what the barrel was previously used for.     Tea urn

    Could i use a tea urn as my kettle? Love the idea of a big setup but not the cost. Thought with a tea urn it would be easier to the decant into a fermentation bin. Whats your thoughts?
