    I put my temperature probe under the bucket, with a 1" polystyrene layer to isolate it. Hope it works!

    I use a cooler and a lot of ice. They reach 35 to 41F. Let them sit for 48h and it's done! Patience is a plus, always...

    Hello guys! I've been thinking lately about using the stirring plate with the fermentation bucket. The rationale: rousing top fermenting yeasts back into suspension. The theoretical risks: oxidize the precious beer and putting yeasts on mechanical stress. Any thoughts or previous experiences?
