    Fermentation went nuts, and we have a huge overflow...what to do?

    Ferming 5 gal. in a 6.5 gal. glass carboy, and after about 18-24 hrs of vigorous fermentation I get up this AM and have krausen all over the sides, the airlock is full, and she is still happily blowing stuff out the top. Should I just wait till the krausen falls, then clean and sanitize...

    My airlock somehow siphoned back into the carboy

    I'm guessing about 1-2 oz of vodka siphoned back into my fresh wort before ferm even started last night. Anyone ever experience this? Took it apart this am and shook it around, made sure it was freed up and put it back in the bung. Hopefully it works right now...(3-piece by the way)...
