    Non-American Beers to Try

    I feel that I have a firm grasp on the American styles of beer but am interested in German, English, etc. Any recommendation? Although I have a couple of nice beer shops around with a large selection, what kind of "wordly" beers can usually be found? Any suggestions?

    Dryhoping, Ready to be bottled

    I have a quick question. My dry hopped IPA has been in the secondary for close to three weeks now and is ready to be bottled. I am concerned about one thing, there are still some floaties from the hop pellets on top of the beer. I don't really want this in the bottle...is this a problem? If so...

    No yeast at the bottom of my bottles

    My first batch has been in the bottles for 4 weeks. I haven't noticed any yeast at the bottom of the bottles, does this mean anything in particular?

    Fermenting Temperatures

    How close to the FG is close enough?

    I am brewing a brewers best California Pale Ale. The FG is supposed to be between 1.008 - 1.016. My FG is at 1.020. Is that close enough to bottle? I am a noob and didn't know if you had to be directly on the money or not. Ihave nothing against letting it sit for another week! Thanks
