I have 22's of both red and green. If you don't know this brewery check them out on beer advocate. They are making insanely good small batch beers in the middle of nowhere Iowa. These are experimental single hopped pale ales using hops that have never been used in production beers before...

Two hearted is amazing when it's fresh much like most ipas. It holds up worse than most with any age past a month and a half though. I think that is why a lot of people who don't like ipas think they like two hearted.

Going to give this one a shot next.

I loved John's when I lived in Iowa City years ago. The only problem is that it's in the midwest, so his american craft selection is limited

Ok, rate your beers based on names and packaging. I don't care. It's my opinion that anyone who does so is beyond wacky.

Let's stick to judging beers based on taste. They are a solid middle of the road brewery. Not the best, certainly not the worst.

A lot of people don't make a starter, so you would know you had a problem before you pitched if you did get a bad batch. There have been problems with different lots of notty in the past. I've personally never had any problems, but lots of people have. I think it has less to do with them and...

This was the second beer I brewed today. I had probably been drinking more than I should have when I got to the late part of the boil. I ended up forgetting the flame out hops. I think I'll add the tettnanger and 1/2 oz of cascade after fermentation is done to make up for it. We'll see how...
