    Do people make yeast starters with dry yeast,or mostly liquid yeast? If you rehydrate the dry,can you make it just like you would liquid yeast,using DME? Thanks Ernie

    Hello, Been a few years!

    I use to do extracts quite a bit, then started to get setup for all grain, and just faded away from brewing because of work and life things. Fixing to retire in the next couple of months, and I’m going to start brewing again!Time to enjoy life! Ernie

    Does the hop total determine which yeast you might use,say if the hop count is high or low for the type of beer you are brewing? May be a dumb question,just wondering! Ernie
