Hi guys i want to know where do you guys buy your supplies / recipes online ? i know the standard is 5 Gallon size recipes but i prefer to make 2.5G at a time if i can find a place that i can pick the mount i want. i prefer not to get 5G recipes and then split it at home Thanks

wow i just had to come and sign in and just say 1st time REAL home brew after Mr beer this is JUST AMAZING. i cant believe that it tastes like the beers i by to enjoy yet i made it myself. Not to Brag but it tastes better then 50% of the beers i have had. NOW IM ADDICTED :ban:

when i put the cooled it and then dumped it in the 5 gallon carboy i cant remember if i dumped all the debris too. Then when i was siphoning the beer the dam thing keep moving around and steered a little bit. Wish they had a clamp or something to hold it in one place so you can use the siphon...

the only thing i added was the liquid Sugar to the boil. But when i bottled it i used the little sugar tablets that i picked up from the beer store.

i haven't done the before so what can i do now to read the alcohol level ?

i had it fermenting for 2 weeks and noticed no more bubbles. So today i was bottling i decided to measure it and on the scale of the hydrometer it was reading 2 1/2 or a little less. Did something go wrong here ? Also the beer is pretty bitter will it mellow out after conditioning ? Thanks
