    Important lesson learned today

Hand tightening the regulator adaptor to the CO2 tank is not sufficient!!! I bought a new tank 2 weeks ago and left town after I hooked it up to my cornie. Came home to an empty tank and uncarbonated beer. All the CO2 had leaked out while I was gone!! I initially thought I had a regulator...

    Deadliest Catch...A New Season

i love the show..... although, I thought the whole thing with the captains son buying the TV on his dad's credit card seemed a little "set up"..... I would definatley choose Sig as well. I'll be darned if he doesn't look just like Dirk Nowitzki though.

    Official HBT SCUBA thread

I am a NAUI certified instructor but haven't tank dove in over 3years..... Freediving is where it's at! No cumbersome tanks, regulators, BC's, etc. But best of all, no silly underwater darth vader noise scaring all of the good fish away!!!

Trying to balance a recipe... Help would be appreciated!!

Hey no clue, I've used the IBU calculator at the link attached below with some pretty good results. if you're not doing full boils, the first one is good for calculating partial boil 5 gallon batches... http://www.rooftopbrew.net/ibu.php

    Kegerator opinions desired

Ahhh..... the floor of the fridge.. of course.... Who let the new guy in anyways.... :D the inside did have a slight hump towards the rear of the unit. Probably is the compressor. I don't imagine a time where I'll need space for more than 2 cornies...... I'm sure that's what...

    Kegerator opinions desired

Yes, it would be going on a flat surface.... most likely in the dining room. SWMBO is thrilled..... :D

    Kegerator opinions desired

Will probably only have one keg going at any given time. I'm also at a premium for space so a chest freezer would be far too large. It does come with a CO2 tank, not sure of the size. How much would the Cornie hook-ups cost??

    Kegerator opinions desired

I was wondering if anyone had opinions on the kegerator linked below. I found one today at BJ's on sale for $285 (reduced from $450), which seems like a great price. Not knowing a whole lot about kegerators, I was wondering if anyone had some insight for me...

    Making Home Brewing Tax Deductible

There are specific sections in the IRC that refer to "Hobby Losses" and limit their deductibility. Homebrewing falls squarely under that category. However, as with anything to do with taxes, it's only a problem if the IRS catches you. good luck.
