Here goes ... need opinions on types of beer for virgin palate

Lord 3 pages since I was out.. Thanks to everyone who made suggestions. Yes, my tastes run sweet/nutty. Not sure about sour. I will pick some and throw em in the keg. I know my husband is good to drink anything I don't like. And btw, not crazy about wine either but the fruitier ones are easier...

Since I am not yet advanced to do partial mash or full grain, I would be looking for extract kits at this point.

Here goes ... need opinions on types of beer for virgin palate

As the thread title states: I am married and brew mainly for my husband's enjoyment. I would actually like to start drinking/tasting beer for myself too however .... Every beer I have ever tried tastes ... well, like .. beer? To say I am not crazy about the taste is mild to say the least...

    Jaspers

Ok so let me first say I am in no way affiliated with Jaspers (I am a new customer). I ordered a few extract kits from them and they arrived pretty fast but one of the yeast smack packs was missing. I called them up and Jaspers sent me a replacement yeast along with 2 packages of dry yeast...

Any way to save my beer ?

The brew is still in the brewing bucket. I did not take any sample reading before fermentation :o I might do a combination of all this good advice and take a reading of my fermented brew, then top off with boiled water too and let it sit another few weeks. TY again everyone for taking time to reply!

Any way to save my beer ?

So I know I am already too strong. I fermented 3 weeks and sampled the result and it tastes like way too much spices, especially like cloves. Very strong but not in an alcoholic type strong, just too spicy. Any suggestions?
