    How much sugar?!

    Ready to carb my 1st lager from secondary...how much corn syrup sugar do I add to each 750mL bottle for a 3 week carb??

    Have had my first lager on secondary lagering away for 3weeks now. Q1: do I bottle carb with sugar at room temp for 3 or more weeks and then put back in the fridge to lager more for 3 weeks?? Q2: do I just trial with one bottle to ensure it will carb with residual yeast or rep itch more??

    Have used white and brown sugar, carb drops,o wonder how honey, syrups, and caster sugars would go?any thoughts?

    Is RO water too pure for the beer ie no essential minerals?? maybe try a simple carbon filter post boiling.

    Limited lagering lagers

    Has anyone here combined an ale-style yeast for initial ferment, and lager yeast whilst dropping temp?if so how'd it turn out? I have it underway in the primary now and seems ok for a lager (so far!)
