Soo with 24 hours l, my plastic carboy blew its stopper and spewed beer and yeast cake all over my laundry room. It was set up with an over flow kit with the stopper pressed down tight..not sure how it could blow..any opinions?

I'm looking to make an applewood smoked IPA with pineapple and mango...any tips for smoking an IPA...actually smoking the mash in a smoker..and how/ when is a good point to add the fruit. I'm gettin crazy with this one lol

Just started my first batch yesterday..already fermenting after 24 hours. It's a caramel cream stout with safale s 04.
1. Is this normal to ferment this fast?
2. The foam is pressing its way through my air lock. What should I do? How long will this continue?
