Best local brewery that you won't find anyplace else is nightshift in Everett. Worth stopping by their taproom and brewery. If you can't make it there, find a bottle. My favorites are the SommerWeiss and Viva Habanero.

Instead of looking in SF, get a cheap rental and drive an hour north and go to Russian River. Beautiful drive and you can hit some wineries as well. My wife and I did a similar trip two years ago and the day in Sonoma was our favorite by far.

So I have fermented lower using once baths for a Maerzen. I have done warmer with heating pads. I'd like to not worry too much about temps. I also front need to use all 8oz. Idye happily save some for summer.
