That's an unfortunate angle on the first picture. It looks, well, it's just unfortunate.

There's a place in Montgomery, AL where the owner is very interactive with the patrons. He's chatting beer, popping bottles of hard to find stuff and giving small samples, etc. It is clear that he likes being there, likes beer and wants you to like being there too. Easily the best bar I've been to.

Myself, I prefer well made classic styles to adding new and odd combinations of ingredients to beer just because, but to each his own. I guess I'm boring and unsophisticated. And, not mentioned, but that's a really cool boss.

Moving bottles to the fridge in the garage, I tried to slide the fridge over a bit to get room to open the door more so I could add a shelf, a case of beer is now on my garage floor. It smells good out there, but it's a mess. Wife hasn't seen it yet.

Perhaps a science teacher experiencing ill health needing to put a little money aside for his family. Heisenbrew. :)

There's a Piccadilly Beverage Shops in Champaign that gets good reviews on beeradvocate. According to Google maps it's about 43 mile drive from Georgetown - not too bad.

I just ordered one. I needed a new plastic fermenter and bottling bucket, and with the ingredient kit and $25 credit, seemed like a no-brainer.
