    90 min vs 60 min boil time????

    I am looking into making something similar to deschutes mirror pond pale ale. On the deschutes website they say that its a 90 min boil time. I am very new to homebrewing (this will be my third batch). Why do they say 90 min vs the 60 min i used to seeing? Does it make a difference? Any answers...
