    Maltodextrin Question

Hello ladies and gents! I brewed a mini mash coffee stout the other day, and have a question. I have done stouts before that came out a little watery for me, so I was going to use maltodextrin to help that out. I added all my LME and DME at the beginning of the boil as instructed. The...

    Champagne taste.

I brewe a pilsner lager partial mash kit. I lagered it at 37 degrees for 4 weeks. I opened a bottle one week after I bottled to see if there was any carbo. Carbonation was great but it has a champagne smell and taste. Sometimes I think it's green apples mixed with champagne. I have read about...

    Mango IPA

I'm getting ready to start my mango IPA and have a question for all the hop heads in the house. My bittering hops are 1 oz of summit and my flavor are 1 oz of zythos with no aroma hops. I'm gonna dry hop this one with 1 oz of citra and 1 oz of cascade with 2.5 lbs of mangos. How does my hop line...

    First lager

So I brewed up my first lager. A european pilsner lager. Threw in the WLP800 liquid yeast and stored at room temp until first signs of fermentation. Then I moved to a room that was 55 degrees. We had a heat wave in Kansas in January and the room temp went up to 59. The beer was bubbling like...
