You only buy once if you don't break it five minutes after buying it...which is very likely with a hydrometer. Besides that the additional accuracy isn't really needed for our needs IMHO.

Coopers kits are no boil. They actually advise against it.

You don't scrub your dead skin and hair off in a bottling bucket. There is a reason why you are required to wear flip flops in gym showers.

I've got the Coopers kit and love it. Great gift idea for a new home brewer IMO.
