Plate Chiller and 8/10gallon kettle with fittings

Hi everyone, Looking for a cheap used plate chiller and a 8-10 gallon kettle with a valve and thermometer. I've found a new chiller for around 80 bucks and a new (heavy duty) kettle with all the fittings for 160, so if I can't get a deal under that I'll just buy new. Thanks!

    Countertop electric build-- please help?

Hey everyone, I recently decided to try and do the same build that Jeff Karpinski did here: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/countertop-brutus-20-a-131411/ To put it simply, I'm completely lost as to how to build it. After 51 pages of information, random bits here and there on the web and...

    Efficiency, dead space, temp questions!

Hey everyone, I'm hoping to have this answered before I go to the LHBS today! I'm having a little bit of trouble understanding efficiency in terms of how you use it to help your recipes. I've been hitting upper 60's/low 70's consistently for my efficiency, but now that I know I miss my...

Hi everyone, I revamped my Winter Ale recipe-- would you mind critiquing it? I have a few questions (thoughts) right off the bat. Are the hop additions okay? I don't want too much aroma, but I do definitely want enough bitterness to balance out the sweetness. Secondly, I want to oak...

Hey everyone, I picked up a fridge today that was supposed to be 5 cubic feet but ended up being 3... GE SFR03BAVBBB is the model. Can I still convert this into a kegerator that'll fit 2 corny kegs, or should I sell it and try to find something bigger? Thanks

    Belgian Tripel WLP550 question

Hey everyone, I got a kit from Midwest Supplies for a Belgian Tripel, and I chose to use the WLP 550 strain of yeast. I've been able to keep the temperature around 70°F since pitching it Sunday night (with a starter that was roaring). The fermentation for the past 3-4 days has been very...
