    Does yeast die?

    I have a mead that has been fermenting for seven months and now I want to bottle it. I want to make it sparkling do I just add sugar or is that yeast dead?

    Washing yeast

    If I dry hopped pellets in a batch of beer is it ok to wash that yeast? Since I am "washing" it assume I can, but I wanted to check! Thanks in advance.

    Partial to all grain

    Can anyone help me convert this receipe to an all grain, also would I mash for the same time and temp? My Wife's Beer: Sassy Ass Blonde Mash at 152-154 for 45 min. This is my first time using lemon grass and citrus zest. Secondary zest optional based on taste/aroma at racking...FYI two medium...
