    White house beer

With stoves and a kitchen like that who needs a brew rig? My only question is, where is the pipeline?:D If he doesn't have a pipeline, he is not a homebrewer.:o

A Couple of Noobs 2nd Brew - Our Belgian Triple Nipple

I was going to suggest getting another bucket. I don't see any reason for the spigot. Use your racking cane, with the little black tip to leave most, of the yeast, hops, or trub, in the bucket.

Round chest freezers I saw at grocery store would make cool fermentation chamber

I saw these at the local grocery and thought how cool would that be. One of them looked a tad short, but the other one was taller because it had a collar built into it. I am sure they are too high right now, but down the road these things will show up on the used market, craigslist, etc...If...

New Brewer in La Marque, Texas (where??)

I rode my bike to La Marque from near downtown once. Welcome aboard. I love Kelley's country kitchen, but the gravy looks funny. Good Choice for your first brew.

wanting to get away from kits

I started trying recipes I found on the internet. I also like Hopville, it allows you to tinker with your ingredients, and get some feedback on strength and balance. No need to reinvent the wheel. Just like your kit selection, decide what type of beer you would like to have five gallons of, find...

Five hundred dollars! If you have the freezer and temp controller.

    Fermentation temperature too high?

Just keep a brewing. It will be fine. Ideally you want to lower those temps, but what can you do. put it in the swamp cooler, and forget about it. Even if it tastes funny at first, by the second or third pint you will love it. ;-)

    Commercial kegerator recommendations?

I would try for a large freezer, with temp controller. Get one large enough for three cornys on the floor, and use picnic taps so you won't have to build a collar. It will just look like a chest freezer.

Just got a free cooler. now a Question.

I think you will be able mash up to eight pounds of grain, enough for a nice five gallon session beer.

How feasible is it to start AG with no prior brewing experience?

Just do it, there is nothing to it. I suggest BIAB, because all you need is a six dollar bag. I think I brewed three extract beers, before I switched to all grain. I have a cooler with a braid which works very well, but recently tried BIAB, and am really sold on the simplicity and ease of the...

    Keezer Temp Stratification. Wow!

It's pricey, but you can go to radio shack and buy a 12 volt PC fan, and ask them for a power supply, with appropriate adaptor tip. They will sell you a wall wart with a little adaptor that plugs into the fan wires. Probably cost 30.00. Or you can get the fan, and find an old cell phone...
