    Ok great thanks guys I figured id ask for next time, this time I did it by mouth, then I read that it can be bad to do it that way. Hope I didn't ruin it, i did cut of the piece of tube I had in my mouth.

    I just switched my beer from my fermenting pale to my carboy, the instructions say to leave the leftover sediment in the pale, but I need to to use the pale again, do I leave the sediment in the pale or just dispose of it?

    Yrs I am but after 3 to 5 I switch to another jug for 7 ya 10 days. I'm doing a festa brew kit.

    Ok sounds good, it is still fermenting it is on day 3 of a possible 5. Also my carboy is plastic will this matter.

    Ok it was purified water not boiled down, when you guys say sanitizer do you mean the stuff I use to clean my jugs and tools? Sorry for all the questions its my first time doing a batch.

    I just had some water go from my air lock on my fermenting pale go down into my mixture, will this contaminate the beer, it was a small amount.

    Ya I did sanitize carefully, most little pieces are gone, still some there, but I cleaned it like 4 times, I think and hope its ok, its my first batch.

    I just cut my hole for my plug in my fermenting bucket, will it be an issue if it is gouged from the hand saw I used to cut it on the inside of the lid. But I did sanitize it after I made the cut, however there is little pieces if plastic like hanging inside.

    Ok jlem that sounds good, I was told by the local wine beer shop, that the lid will only matter once it is finished fermenting.

    Ok great I can't wait now, I probly will drill a hole and I have a number 9 gromet I might just drill it out tonight. Thank again, ill post again once I start my next steps.

    Ok I do have an air lock just no hole in th bucket to put it in. Also I do have a second clear plastic jug for the step u say can be skipped, I also have a hydrometer so I think I should be ok, also me temp goes anywere from around 64 to 70.
