    No action

    I'm going on four days and am getting no fermentation. Is that normal? Should I pitch more yeast? It's an oktoberfest btw- if it matters. Still new to this home brew game. I have the fermenter @ just below 70F- should it b colder maybe?

    Conditioning

    Is it necessary to condition? If so, are there different methods for different brews? My first batch was an Oktoberfest that I didn't really condition- put bottles in fridge for 2 days, it came out pretty good. I wanna go for a dry stout next n have been reading a lot about month long...

    New to this

    Is it a "bad" idea to do the 2nd round of fermentation in the bottle? Is it a preference thing? I've read a lot going both ways but no explanation really.

    Was wondering, as I see most all recipes I've viewed are for 5gal, how to cut these down for a 2gal batch w/o compromising taste n quality. Thx!
