    WANTED 5/8" SS washer

Looking for a 5/8" SS washer. I know I can order them online for a $1.50 but I figure I might as well compensate someone who bought a 10 pack. Let me know if you have one.

    Had a pretty good laugh...

Checked my bank statement today and my bank lists my orders from morebeer.com as "grocery" expenses. Gotta love it!

    Zinc plated parts

I've seen a few threads about this but not the specific answer... If I'm using zinc plated parts for a hop spider and help hold my keggle lid am I at risk for whatever terrible things happen when you ingest the toxins? Or am I OK because they are not in direct contact with the beer?

    Help with mash temps

Hello all, Well I'm currently mid brew and had a couple questions: 1. I mashed for 90 min and lost about 6 degrees. From what I've read this is not normal. About 45 min in I put plastic bags on the top thinking this would help my head space loss, but it really didn't work the way I would...

    Bulk All Grain - Maryland

So I've searched all over for a thread to answer my questions but I couldn't find much. So... 1. I guess I don't understand the use in bulk grains unless you are buying and storing many types of grain. My LHBS said if anything go with 2-row. In my opinion I've only brewed with the same strain...

    Help with all grain

Hello all, First of all I wanted to say that this is my 2nd all grain batch so I am pretty new to it. I really enjoy doing it but I have been a bit discouraged because I've never had trouble with extract. So I had a series of questions: 1. I am using a 48q cooler with a CPVC manifold for a...

    Clip n Clamp Bottles

I've got a few of clip n clamp bottles. I was wondering if there is any disadvantage to these over using a regular capper. I have about 12 and wanted to bottle in those and then keg the rest. Probably stupid question but just wondering if clip n clamp = capping?

    Leaky Kegerator?

I just set up my first kegerator and put my first beer in. I hit it with 12 psi and came back to it about 2 hrs later to find that it had dropped to 9 psi. I opened the valve more and the pressure has dropped again. Is this normal or do I have a leak in my kegerator? Just wondering because I'm...

    Yeast Culturing

I found a really great thread a while back on yeast culturing that involved minimal equipment and also freezing the yeast in small vials. Would some people mind pasting the links to their favorite yeast culturing threads so that I can find the one I really liked. Thanks
