    Ok, so i'm looking for a very good lighter venue summer brew. i've been leaning toward something in the rye family or maybe a dunkelweisen, but am very much open to suggestions. I really don't want it super hoppy or malty brew, but something light on a hot (Houston) summer day..... thought?

    Double Pitching

    OK, so this has probably been asked before and I am too lazy to search for it... but....... what is the benefit of double-pitching (especially in high gravity beers)? I mean, if your yeast is healthy and if you arriate good, why would i want to ad more yeast? thanks in advance. Eric
