    Lots of trub

    Oatmeal stout has been fermenting for 7 days and I have 6 inches of trub in my carboy. I have brewed several batches in the past and have never seen this. I used liquid Irish ale yeast. Any ideas why this could be happening? Pretty concerned at this point.

    Leaked sanitizer into brew busket!!??

    So I was making a batch of nut brown and was putting the airlock in place on the bucket. As I pushed on the airlock a vacuum pulled some of the iodofor solution into the fermentation bucket. Will this small amount of sanitizer kill the yeast? Will it cause off flavors? Does this small mishap...
