I have made several batches of 'show' mead and now that the apples are comming in here in NC, I thought I might try my hand at a cyser. I thought I would start with a gallon. Any recipe suggestions?
The place where I get my honey just informed me that they have a limited amount of blueberry honey. Has anyone ever used it? Like it? Is it worth the cost difference (more) over what wild flower/clover would be?
OK, I know this may be goofy, but I just realized after reading through my notes on my last batch, that I used a Tablespoon Instead of a Teaspoon with the Energizer and Nutrient amounts. Is this going to make a big impact? What have I just created?

I racked my first batch of mead in November (6 gallons) and before I bottle I was thinking of taking half (3-1 gallon carboys) and doing some flavors. I would like to do a vanilla/lavender as one (looking for a recipe). Any other ideas/recipes that you would suggest?
