I have been getting a weird taste in all of my batches. I am 99% sure its not oxidation. My only thought is that it could be the city water that I am using. Could anyone take a look at the following water profile and let me know if I should be treating the water or if it could be causing...
I have been looking but I cannot find what size drillbit to use to drill for the tap holes in a collar im building. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Has anyone here experimented much with licorice root? I added 2oz. to a 5 gallon batch of a robust porter and it seems a little overbearing. Any suggestions on how much to add to a 5 gallon batch?
