    lager-no signs of fermentation

    I brewed up a rauchbier Friday night. Extract style, with a liquid yeast(white labs German lager) it was pitched at 73 degrees. Im still to yet see any signs of fermentation in the airlock. It's been in my garage at 40-45 degrees. Is this to cold? Did I f it up when I moved it to the...

    Well guys I just finished up my second batch last night, a brown ale. I had some people over watching me, so my concentration was lacking. I tossed in the bittering haops(cascade) with the boiling hops and I also forgot to pull out some beer for my satelite. Live and learn from this...

    hello all, new to the forum. glad to be here! i brewed my first batch over the holidays an amber ale kit my wife got me. totally hooked now, going to brew up a brown ale this weekend. lokk forward to gathering as much as info as i can from you here, as this is a great hobby!!
