    Hibiscus Mead

    I have 1 lb of dried hibiscus flowers and 10 lbs of honey. What else could I add to the depth of flavor . I have 6 lbs of mixed berrys and I do like the Celestial Seasonings Wild Berry Zinger tea.

    Awsome beer using a bastardized frowned upon ingreident.

    After getting sloshed on a buddy of mines home brew ,which tasted very good .He informed me he added two 3 Lb cans of powdered honey into his wort . Weird but doesn't taste bad at all.Very high alcohol too

    What yeast to use ?

    I'm pretty fond of high gravity beers and stouts . I am using starters made of Wyeast Irish Ale Activator White labs Irish ale yeast and DME for an Imperial Stout . Is this the best strain to use or should I seek something suited for barleywine?
