    Racking to keg from Grainfather Conical Fermenter

    I know they are trying to sell a CO2 pressure transfer deal but I’m curious if anyone else is using this conical and how they go about racking fermented beer to a keg without that device. Or is that the only way that makes sense? I don’t mind shelling out $100 but if I don’t need to I won’t.

    I have a grainfather. Was going to add these additions to a hop spider I have. Is this ok? Or should I just throw it straight in? Not sure if I’m depriving the mash of the flavor by doing so in a hop spider or not.
