    50 liter keg?

    Has anyone ever tried using a 50 liter keg and a refrigerated cooler like the one pictured controlled with a PID/thermowell? I have to refrigerated cooler and am looking for the keg. I think this should yield a system similar to a jacketed glycol setup at a fraction of the price.

    I just got a true gdm-7 for next to nothing and I want to use it as my fermentation chamber for a 15.5 sanke keg that I ferment in. In order to get the height I will need to add a collar of about 5.5" due to the compressor hump at the rear of the unit. Has anyone done this on this specific...
