    Afternoon guys.. I've just made 2 x 2L starters with a Bavarian lager and American Lager.. they are in flasks right now waiting for brewery tomorrow.. I'm wondering... i have 20 viles of slants ready for yeast waiting... can i decant off all the old wort and stick a sterilized hook...

    Stir Plate Yeast Starter Extremely Fast Ferment ??!

    Morning guys, I'm stepping up a lager yeast.. I started with a smack pack and let its do its magic on a stir plate with dme.. After 36 hrs I cold crashed and decanted.. Then made another batch of dme. Threw it in the flask and put it back on the stir plate for another round...

    Alien In My Carboy ?

    As you can see there is an alien in my Carboy.. I've search all threads and Internet and can't seem to find why my lager is fermenting this way.. Been fermenting at 50f for 7 days now and no fermentation either.. Used a fresh batch of California lager.. Any help please ? This batch a dud ?
