    Lilac wine fermentation slow

    Hi all, My initial fermentation of this rather rare wine went very fast, fizzed away and smelt of a 'fruity alcoholic drink', which I guess it is, initial hydrometer reading was a high 1.7 or 1.8 (blue section) it went down to 0.9 or less in 4 days, so quite fast, and well into the 'bottle...
