    airlock exploding off top of carboy.

    so yesterday was my brewday. i made a brew from northern brewer. everything went well got it into carboy. let it do its thing checked it before i went to bed. there was some yeasty activity. woke up this morning checked it sometime during the night the yeast had a serious party and had exploded...

    Bottling

    So I'm pretty sure my fermentation has stopped though I wish it was higher I'll accept the 5% its at. Do I have to have a bottling bucket and or want or is it possible to make do with just the auto siphon?

    Second attempt

    Sunday I decided since my NFL team wasn't playing to do something constructive. So I tried a partial mash double chocolate milk stout. I'm positive I did all the steps right. Though I have not seen any bubbles in my fermenter/airlock.

    All grain vs extract

    So I'm getting ready to try and do a second brew. My first one ended in utter failure. So this time instead of jumping 2 feet first off the deep end I thought I would ask. What is the easiest method for brewing? All grain or using extract? I have all the equipment needed just not the knowledge.
